I've been doing all of my studies from photos. Though I've been aware that drawing something from a photo and drawing something that is in front of you can be quite different, I still haven't done much of the latter. Partially 'cause I'm lazy, partially 'cause... well, I'm lazy. Today though I grabbed the statuette of Alduin I got in the Skyrim collector's edition and tried to draw it. It did not go well! There's just so much detail in real life, it boggles the mind.
It's looking good, would be super bad-ass if you finished it and killed yourself to get all those detail...s haha.
