I've been working on this one for far too long, and I think it shows. It's overworked. Lately my attempts at more finished pieces have been fairly fruitless, so I tried to push myself through this one. Ended up deviating from the original concept in a huge way. Now I'm thinking of it more as "A Nice Place to Rest."
I don't know what your original intention for this piece was, but I think it turned out pretty well. It works very well as "a nice place to rest" Nothing is overly saturated except for the rocks which is nicely done for your vocal point. The animals are a nice touch and work with the scene. I like that you pushed back the bridge also! I would of liked to have seen more blood! haha, but that's just a personal preference
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you like it! I think I've been staring at this piece waaay too long at this point, so my opinion's pretty skewed towards the negative.
